There is High Adventure (literally) waiting for you on the Hocking Hills Weekender, organized by Fred and Charm Blissmer, for July 17 and 18.  Although the Weekender is still a few months away, now is the time to make your reservations. 

 

Fred describes a leisurely amble on Saturday from the North Canton area to Logan that includes both a cheese stop and a dessert break.  You'll encounter The Little Dragon, a great twisty road, and all its curvy cousins as we near our evening meal and lodging.

 

On Sunday, the adventure goes into overdrive!  And the day is yours to customize!  Do what you like, eat where you want and go home when you're ready.  Required viewing is the Hocking Hill Tourism Association website to learn about all the activities that are available.  Take a hike or ride in a hot air balloon.  Go horseback riding or paddle a canoe.  Take a wildflower or scenic driving tour.   Visit a flea market/craft fair.  For an overview and all the details, go to the What To Do tab on the website and drop down to Attractions and Activities.

 

Fred and Charm already booked a 3-hour zipline canopy tour with Hocking Hills Canopy Tours and invite you to join them if you're interested.  Call 740.385.ZIPS for reservations and reference the Blissmer party.  There are other times and shorter zipline experiences available also.  The important thing is to make your reservations now because the tours fill up quickly. 

 

The host hotel for the Hocking Hills Weekender is the Holiday Inn Express in Logan at US 33 and 664.  Call 740.385.7700 to reserve your room at the special rate of $139.00 (plus tax, etc.) and mention BMW Group to get the discounted rate.  Any rooms not reserved by June 17 will be released and you'll be on your own to find a place to sleep.
