The PA/NY Weekend Adventure is Sat-Sun, June 13-14!  Rich and Gary have invited the ZBimmers to their neck of the woods again to experience the unique and interesting of their world.  They even enlisted the aid of Dennis Perry to make it even more special!  Following is how Rich describes the Weekender and, please note, hotel info is included in the description:

The PA/NY Weekend Adventure begins in Erie with a 10:00 AM departure from the McDonalds on Rt. 97 at Exit 27 off I-90 (7855 Perry Highway, Erie, PA 16509, 814.866.3596).   We have some interesting places to visit and some great scenic country roads to travel.

We will cruise south through Erie County and work our way back up into New York State, arriving at Panama Rocks, a geological wonder of NW New York.  We will walk, about 1.5 hours, through this private park ($6.00 entry fee).  The path is gravel and should not be muddy but do stash a rag in the car just in case.  Bring your camera because this is a great place for photographs. 

Lunch will be exclusive, just for the ZBimmers, at Guppy’s in Bemis Point.  Christy and Doug are opening just for us!  Wait till you taste the Hog Wings or other specialties!

We’ll spend the afternoon touring the New York countryside and arrive at our hotel, The Inn at Holiday Valley, which is right at the bottom of Sunrise Lift, in time to freshen up for dinner.   There are 20 rooms blocked at The Inn until June 5 at a ZBimmer rate of $130.00 that includes all taxes and breakfast.  The Inn is located at Rt. 219, Ellicottville, NY, 14731 and their phone is 716-699-2345.  After dinner at Tips Up, you’re on your own - for a town pub-crawl, Salamanca Casino, or back to your rooms to party or sleep … or whatever.

Sunday AIS is 9:00 AM for a tour of the NY countryside, working our way to the Chautauqua Institute for a group picture in front of the Hotel and lunch at the Anthenium Hotel.  The lunch will be similar to last year (a garden salad with grilled chicken and a balsamic vinaigrette dressing, coffee, tea or soft drink and desert) for approximately $12 including gratuity.  After lunch, tour the grounds at leisure before departing for home. Here's the standard boilerplate for the PA/NY Weekend Adventure.  Please join us for the entire trip or just the part that's convenient for you.  Bring along all the Zs that you can find.  Dress appropriately for the temperature because we drive regardless of weather.  Don't forget sunscreen and sun glasses if it's bright.  Have a full tank of gas to start the drive.  Bring your Talkabouts tuned to channel 7,5.  Be sure the camera has batteries or film.  Remember your tank of gas donation for Make A Wish.  Contributions now total $16,088!  Do visit zbimmers.org for more information and history of our adventures.
