This is your official invitation to join Erwin Bruder (this event was his idea!) and me for a Morning Drive on Sunday, April 19.  It’s just a Morning Drive because we're meeting the BMW CCA at the Welshfield Inn for ‘Brunch and Packards’ at 11 AM. 

 

‘Brunch and Packards’ is a BMW CCA event that combines Sunday Brunch at the Welshfield Inn with a tour of the Packard Museum (www.packardmuseum.org).  Brunch entries range from $8 to $15; the museum tour starts at 1 PM and admission is $5.  The Welshfield Inn is at 14001 Main Market Road, Troy, 440.834.0190, and the Packard Museum is at 1899 Mahoning Avenue NW, Warren, 330.394.1899.  Do RSVP to C. For the Morning Drive, meet at the Arabica Coffee House in Richfield (4174 Wheatley Road, west of I-77, 330.659.2030) and plan for an 8:00 AM departure.  Yes, yes, I know it’s early but we have an 11:00 AM deadline and, in return, I can almost guarantee that you'll see some new sights and experience some new roads as we make our way to the Inn.  And if you think the Amish are only in Holmes County, you're in for a real surprise!

 

Here's the standard boilerplate for the Morning Drive.  Please join us for the entire trip or just the part that's convenient for you.  Bring along all the Z's that you can find.  Dress appropriately for the temperature because we drive regardless of weather.  Don't forget sunscreen and sun glasses if it's bright.  Have a full tank of gas to start the drive.  Bring your Talkabouts tuned to channel 7,5.  Be sure the camera has batteries or film.  Remember your tank of gas donation for Make A Wish.  Contributions now total $15,263!  Do visit zbimmers.org for information and history of our adventures.

 

Erwin and I look forward to driving a few more miles with you on the Morning Drive!  We can only hope (since bribery doesn't seem to work) that the Weathermeister will smile kindly on our endeavor and provide blue skies with warm temperatures.  Remember to RSVP for 'Brunch and Packards' and we'll see you on the 19th!
