Greetings, ZBimmers!

This is your official invitation to participate in Z Mexican Drive and the Cinco de Mayo Party at Casa de Negro on Saturday, May 6. The route includes some of the most scenic vistas in the area plus a challenging dose of twisties for your driving pleasure. And you know there will also be a few interesting stops along the way until we arrive in Bay Village at Casa de Negro (AKA Natalie and John Black's residence, 31017 Bexley, 440.808.9826) and the renowned Cinco de Mayo Party.

Z Mexican Drive will start in Akron at Primo’s Deli (Primos Deli) at 1707 Wooster Avenue (330.745.9056). Meet at 12:00 Noon for lunch with the ZBimmers at this unique deli that many regard to be one of the area's finest. From I-77, take Exit 130 (V Odom Blvd / Rt 261). Turn Right (southwest) on Wooster Ave and go up the hill toward Rolling Acres Mall. Primo’s is a dark brick building on the Right with lots of parking beyond the building.

Hola Senors and Senoritas!

Can you believe it's Cinco de Mayo time again? That annual excuse to get together on the patio with friends to eat, drink, gather 'round the firepit and whack a piñata with a stick!

For your partying pleasure, we'll be serving our usual spread of favorite Mexican Munchies and the Margarita machine will once again be serving up frozen cocktails in your choice of either original lime or strawberry!

Your only task will be to bring yourself and your favorite South-of-the-Border styled beer to share with the rest of the amigos.

Dress is casual of course... and don't forget that the evenings can get brisk along the lakeshore in early May!

Not to worry, Z Mexican Drive will make a beverage stop just prior to the Cinco de Mayo Party for you to obtain your favorite South-of-the Border styled beer to share. It won't have to slosh around all day in your trunk getting too warm to drink.

Here's the standard boilerplate for Z Mexican Drive. Please join us for the entire trip or just the part that's convenient for you. Bring along all the Zs that you can find. Dress appropriately for the temperature because we drive regardless of weather. Don't forget sunscreen and sun glasses if it's bright. Have a full tank of gas to start the drive. Bring your Talkabouts tuned to channel 7,5. Be sure the camera has batteries or film. Remember your tank of gas donation for Make A Wish.
