Greetings to the Northern Ohio Z Series Enthusiasts!

 

If cruising northeast Ohio wine country and visiting some of the area's finest vineyards sound good to you, the Zs have a drive for you on Sunday, September 26th!  In addition to the scenic roads and some of the finest grapes anywhere in the nation, the leaves are just beginning to show their fall brilliance and there might even be a covered bridge or two along the way.  Get those magnificent driving machines ready and join Z Wine Country Tour!

 

Meet at Panera Bread in Montrose for a 10 am departure.  Panera (330.670.9347) is at 3895A Medina Road, on the north side of Rt 18, just east of I-77. 

 

We'll have a midday brunch at the Old Mill Winery (www.oldmillwinery.com) in Geneva to ensure the afternoon's wine tasting won't go straight to our heads!  We plan to visit the Lakehouse Inn Winery (www.thelakehouseinn.com), Harpersfield Vineyard (www.harpersfield.com), and South River Vineyard (a relocated Victorian church) on our way to the group dinner at Ferrante Winery & Ristorante.  Ferrante's (440.466.VINO) is at 5585 State Route 307 in Geneva.

 

Here's the standard boilerplate for Z Wine Country Tour.  Please join us for the entire trip or just the part that's convenient for you.  Bring along all the Zs that you can find.  Dress appropriately for the temperature because we drive regardless of weather.  Don't forget sunscreen and sun glasses if it's bright.  Have a full tank of gas to start the drive.  Bring your Talkabouts tuned to channel 7,5 (yes, this is a change to improve our reception).  Be sure the camera has batteries or film.
