Here's some info from Z3 Nut (Jim from Dayton) about an event that might satisfy your desire to get your Z on the track - the oval track, that is.  

The Kentucky Speedway is having their "Drive The Track Sale" on Saturday, Nov  8,  2003 from 10:00 am till 4:00 pm EST.  The Kentucky Speedway is located between Cincinnati OH and Lexington KY, just off I-71 in Sparta KY.  Take exit #55 or #57.

To sign up for the event, that Sunday you would report to the gift shop which is addressed:  Kentucky Speedway, 5120 Sparta Pike, Sparta, KY 41086.  Phone:

Yep, for every $40 you spend in their gift shop you will receive a coupon good for three laps on the 1.5 mile Tri Oval track.  These laps will be completed in your personal vehicle this also includes motorcycles.  And if you need an excuse, well Christmas isn't that far off - the $40 purchase could be utilized for a Christmas gift.

I have no financial interest in this track or the event.  I just think it is a neat opportunity and I intend on being there.  I would like to see the place full of BMW's while I am making my run.
